ENERGY AUSTRALIA

A huge commercial office development of 10-and-a-half high-rise floors of the Two Melbourne Quarter building located within The Docklands precinct, has been delivered by Lendlease for its anchor tenant, Energy Australia. The offices have been designed to the highest sustainability standards, achieving a 6- Star Green Star As Built and a 5.5 Star NABERS Energy rating.

In creating the agile, collaborative workplaces required, Geyer’s architectural direction inspired NDYLIGHT to deliver an exemplary and innovative lighting design. The main feature is a continuous, curved, suspended profile element, MRS T RADII, which measures a staggering 147m in uninterrupted length, making it the longest single light DARKON has ever fabricated! A great result and another challenging luminaire design delivered as documented.

The visual outcome is very impressive and testament to the skilful installation by Nilsen with administrative support from REXEL for all drawing & documentation coordination. Despite COVID-19 associated delays, the two Nilsen Project Management teams worked closely with DARKON and Lendlease to keep the project on track, resulting in high customer satisfaction and an extremely successful project for all suppliers and stakeholders.
